The editors of the collection practice checking articles for anti-plagiarism and self-plagiarism. Only if this procedure is successful, the article is sent for review. This process involves the following:

• All manuscripts are first reviewed by editors to assess their relevance to the topic and requirements of the collection.

• After the decision of the editors, the submitted manuscripts are sent to experts working in the relevant field.

• Reviewers' comments are sent to the authors together with a possible recommendation to review the manuscript. The editor informs the authors whether the manuscript is accepted as not requiring revision, or the authors are given the opportunity to re-edit the manuscript and submit it again, or the manuscript is rejected.
